Dan O'Meara

Daniel O'Meara received his PhD in Musicology from Princeton University.  His research focuses on analytical approaches to listening and musical style in twentieth- and twenty-first-century popular musics, particularly jazz. His other research interests include musical improvisation, the role of recordings and technology in musical experience, and music in video games.
